General Instructions for a Waterfall Album:

You will need 3 pieces of chipboard. Two pieces cut at 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 for the front and back cover and one piece cut at  3/4 x 8 1/2 inches for the spine.

Using your choice of Patterned Paper or Plain Cardstock cut at 10 1/2 x 12 inches. Score at 1 inch on 3 sides.

Take your chipboard and use the adhesive you like best. Adhere around all of the edge of your chipboard.  Also place adhesive all over the chipboard "center".  This will allow the chipboard to "hold" onto the paper and not have any wrinkles or bumps.

Lay your chipboard with the adhesive side down on top of the patterned paper using the score lines as a guide. One of the left side, One on the right and center the 3/4 x 8 1/2 inch strip down the center, leaving a small gap between each piece.

Apply adhesive to the edges of the chipboard only.

On each of the corners draw a straight diagonal line.  Cut the corners off along the penciled lines that you drew.

Fold in the paper over the chipboard making the cover of the book. Run your bone folder down the two inside seams which will be your spine.

At this point we need to turn over and add paper to the cover.  First adhere the Flower paper to the top of your album.  After that is on, adhere the Camera patterned paper to the bottom portion of your album.  Followed by placing the Map Patterned Paper to the center of your album. (This needs to be done now, because the fabric trim need to be tucked under the inside base paper of the album.)  In your kit you have two strips of Maya Road Fabric Tape.  Open your album up and about two inches from the top, adhere the Fabric Tape to the Chipboard that hasn't been covered.  You will be adhering the Fabric Tape all the way around the album until you come to the right side of the album where you will be attaching it to the Chipboard again.  Do this again for the bottom portion of the album.

After the Fabric Tape has been attached to the album it is now time to apply adhesive to the to the uncovered chipboard pieces.

Apply adhesive the uncovered chipboard pieces and then cut an inside piece of  piece of patterned paper at 8 1/8 x 9 5/8 to cover the exposed chipboard

Take your bone folder and again go along the seam so you can easily bend the book.

Cut a piece of card stock at 7 3/4 x 4 inches. Make sure it coordinates in color with the patterned paper. Adhere it to the inside back panel of the book.

Cut eight pieces of card stock at 4 x 4 1/2 inches. Score the card stock on the 4 inch mark on the score board.

Use a Corner Rounder of Corner Chomper to decorate (if you wish) the edges and add score tape/red line tape to each scored flap.

Start at the top of the card stock you adhered to the back cover of the book and adhere the 7 pieces of card stock making the waterfall effect.

You will need 17 pieces of patterned paper cut at 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. I selected 8 each of 2 pieces (and one single one) of patterned paper. You can use a Corner Chomper or Corner Rounder on two of the edges. Adhered the paper on the front and back side of the waterfall flaps.

Cut 8 pieces of paper 3 3/4 inches x 1/2 of an inch.  These pieces need to be placed on the area that you scored on each of the flaps.

There are 8 Pre-Punched Tabs for you in your kit.  When I placed these in my album I just put them where I "thought" they should go.  I didn't want the tab to match the paper that it was next to.

On the "inside" left side of the book i placed three Maya Road Kraft Envelopes.  I layered them one on top of the other.  And then I glued a pretty yellow flower button on it.  I used a wet adhesive for this so allow time to dry before closing the book.

Cover:

In your kit you have three Chipboard Pennant Pieces.  Cover those witth patterned paper and arrange them on the upper left of your album. Add the white flower to the right of the last Chipboard Pennant Piece.  Using a wet adhesive (glossy accents) Add the Airplane paper clip to the top of the Second Chipboard Pennant Piece.

In your kit you have an embossed Kraft Star.  Paint the Star and let dry.  Sand and ink edges if desired.  Place the Crystal Star Pink through the hold in the star and using Pop Dots adhere it to the bottom left of the album. Using wet adhesive again (glossy accents) adhere the bicycle charm to the Star.  Then adhere the button that says "You are My World" to the bottom right of the star.  (I used Pop Dots for this too).

In your kit you have two Camera Chipboard Pieces.  Paint one of the Cameras with Silver Paint. After the Camera is dry, layer it on top of the second Camera. The Lense of the Camera is Pop Dotted also. To add more color  I used Copper Stickles inside of the Camera Pieces.

Optional:  If you would like to add ribbons to your Album all you need to do is open your album to expose the inside spine.  Using your Crop-o-dile Punch two holes approximately 1 1/2 - 2 inches apart and feed the ribbon through.
